Efectos económicos regionales de las ayudas concedidas a la flota pesquera de Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los impactos socioeconómicos originados en Cantabria por las ayudas concedidas al sector pesquero de la región en el período de 1999-2006. En el estudio se diferencian los instrumentos financieros utilizados por líneas de actuación y por puertos. También se realiza un seguimiento de dichas ayudas en el periodo 2007-2013 por ejes prioritarios y años. Se pretende cuantificar el efecto multiplicador originado por el aumento de la demanda producida por el incremento del gasto, su repercusión en los demás sectores de la economía, así como, determinar el efecto sobre las principales magnitudes macroeconómicas regionales. Por último, se analiza la distribución y concentración de las ayudas en los diferentes puertos de la región, en función de diferentes variables: flota, capacidad, potencia, toneladas desembarcadas y su valor. Se pretende determinar el grado de concentración de las ayudas entre los diferentes puertos que configuran la flota de Cantabria.

ABSTRACT: The object of the present work is to analyze the socio-economic impacts originated in Cantabria for the aids granted to the fisheries sector of the region in the period 1999-2006. The financial instruments used in this study are distinguished by course of actions and by ports. Follow-up of those aids is carried out during the period 2007-2013 for priority axis and years. It aims to quantify the multiplying effect of the demand as a result of the increase in expenditure, the impact in other sectors of the economy, as well as to determine the effect on the main macroeconomic aggregates of the region. Finally, this analyses the distribution and concentration of the aids given among the different ports of the region, based on different variables: fleet, capacity, power, tonnes landed and their euro value. The purpose is to determine the degree of aid concentration among the various ports that form the Cantabrian fleet.
