RESUMEN Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster tiene como objetivo el estudio de la bibliografía sobre el
militarismo en la vida política de la España del S. XIX, concretamente entre la Guerra de la
Independencia y la Restauración monárquica en la persona de Alfonso XII, y lo que sobre dicho
tema han aportado los diversos autores que a lo largo de los años lo han abordado. Por tanto, en este
trabajo llevaremos a cabo un estado de la cuestión y analizaremos en profundidad una selección de
los obras más representativas y mejor documentados por la historiografía con el objeto de extraer
algunas conclusiones generales acerca del estado actual del tema en cuestión en el campo
historiográfico.
ABSTRACT The aim of this Master’s thesis is the study of militarism in the Spanish political life of the
nineteenth century, specifically between the Independence War and the restoration of monarchy in
the person of Alfonso XII, and what different authors have made on the subject over time.
Therefore, in this thesis we will conduct a state of matter and will discuss in depth a selection of the
most representative and best documented cases in order to draw some general conclusions about
current status of the subject matter in the historiography
