RESUMEN. El lean es un avanzado modelo de gestión. Aunque en sus inicios apareció de la mano de la industria manufacturera, actualmente cada vez son más las empresas de servicios que lo están instaurando. De ahí que su relevancia y su presencia mundiales estén aumentando. Dada la gran cantidad de información existente en la actualidad, iniciarse en un campo de estudio es una tarea ardua y extensa. Por ello, con el objetivo de facilitar el trabajo de futuros investigadores e iniciar en el mundo del lean a aquellos empresarios interesados y al público en general, realizaremos a continuación un análisis bibliométrico que nos muestre cuáles son los documentos más importantes relacionados con el lean management. Además, incluiremos un análisis de la evolución anual y de los autores más citados. La herramienta que utilizamos fue el Software Sitkis, que exporta la información de la base ISI Web of Knowledge a MS ACCESS©.
ABSTRACT. Lean is an advanced management model. Although, in the
beginning, it was mainly used in the manufacturing industry, now more and
more service companies are adopting lean. Hence, their relevance and global
presence are increasing.
Given the large amount of information available today, taking the first steps in a new area of research becomes an arduous and time consuming
task. Therefore, in order to facilitate the work to future researchers, to
practitioners and to the general public interested in lean management, we
will perform a bibliometric analysis to show what the most important
documents related to the lean management are. We also include an analysis
of the annual evolution of the published papers and the most cited authors.
The tool we used was Software Sitkis which exports information from ISI
Web of Knowledge database to MS ACCESS©.
