“Ya no andamos con prisa”. Análisis sobre la jornada escolar intensiva desde la perspectiva del alumnado

Abstract:
RESUMEN En los últimos años vienen divulgándose diferentes estudios sobre cómo organizar la jornada escolar. Resulta relevante interesarnos por la organización temporal ya que influirá directamente sobre los procesos educativos, favoreciéndolos o, por el contrario, obstaculizándolos. Los más jóvenes parecen ser, por tanto, los verdaderos protagonistas de este debate. Por ello me he interesado por conocer las opiniones que varios alumnos1 de un centro de Educación Primaria de Cantabria, quienes han experimentado un cambio de jornada recientemente, arrojan sobre los dos modelos de jornada escolar existentes. Los resultados muestran diversos argumentos y puntos de vista en los que merece la pena detenerse.
ABSTRACT During the last years a lot of studies about the organization of school time have been published. Temporal organization will have influence on educational processes, having a good or a bad effect on them, so that is the reason why we should pay attention to it. Since children seem to be the principal characters of this debate, I decided to interview some students of a Primary Education School, who have just experienced a change on their school time, in order to know their opinions concerning both kinds of time organization. Results show different arguments and points of view which deserve to be analyzed.
