Análisis del tratamiento de la atención a la diversidad en los centros educativos

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo aborda un asunto nuclear en los centros educativos, la respuesta a la diversidad del alumnado. El trabajo se ha estructurado en dos partes: la primera, pretende fundamentar teóricamente a qué nos referimos cuándo hablamos de educación inclusiva; la segunda busca explorar cómo se concreta en dos centros educativos, uno concertado y otro de carácter público. Así pues, en un primer momento se hace un repaso de la evolución en la atención a la diversidad en España -a través de su desarrollo legal- y se plantea la aparición de los Planes de Atención a la diversidad (PAD) como herramienta para trabajar con la diversidad del alumnado. Posteriormente, con el objetivo de conocer cómo se atiende a la diversidad en dos centros educativos -y cómo viene plasmado en sus Planes de Atención a la Diversidad- se analizan ambos documentos. Además, se realizan varias entrevistas a las Unidades de Orientación Educativa (UOE). Este Trabajo Fin de Grado pretende insistir en la importancia que tiene el respetar las distintas singularidades y saber responder a la diversidad del alumnado. Urge que la sociedad en su conjunto tome conciencia de que es posible una escuela para todos, y por ello tenemos que trabajar para eliminar todas las barreras que lo impiden.

ABSTRACT: This project approaches a nuclear issue in all schools: the answer to all the students. This document has been divided into two parts: the first part aims to theoretically base what we mean when we talk about educative inclusion, and the second part tries to explore how it is concreted in two different school centers, one private and the other one public.So, at first a review of the evolution in the attention to diversity in Spain is made (through its legal development) and it is mentioned the emergence of plans for attention to diversity as a tool to work with diversity. In a second moment, the plans for attention to diversity are analyzed with the aim of knowing how the diversity is treated in both school centers, and how it is shaped in both documents. Moreover, several interviews to the educational orientation units are carried out. This Final Degree Project aims to insist in the importance of respecting the different singularities and knowing how to respond to the diversity of students. It is urgent that society as a whole becomes aware that a school for all is possible and therefore we have to eliminate the barriers that prevent it.
