La importancia de la relación familia-escuela en la etapa de Educación Infantil

Abstract

RESUMEN En este trabajo vamos a abordar la relación familia-escuela en la etapa de Educación Infantil. En la primera parte desarrollamos el marco teórico, donde explicaremos la importancia de esta relación, los beneficios que aporta tanto a los alumnos, como a los docentes y a las familias, las dificultades o limitaciones que pueden surgir, los distintos modelos de relación: intercambio de información, implicación y participación, y las diferentes vías de comunicación que pueden surgir. La segunda parte va a constar de un estudio realizado en un centro educativo público de la comunidad de Cantabria, con el que pretendemos averiguar cómo es la relación que promueve el centro respecto a la participación de las familias de los alumnos en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Para ello, contaremos con ambas perspectivas, es decir, la de los docentes y la de las familias.

ABSTRACT In this work we are going to deal with the family-school relationship in the pre-school education. First of all, we are going to develop the theoretical framework, where we are going to explain de importance of this relationship, the benefits for students, teachers and families, the problems or limits that can arise, the relationship models: exchange information, implication and participation, and the communication strategies. The second part is based on a study done in a public school in Cantabria. With this study we want to discover how is the relationship promoted by the school in relation with the participation of the families in the pre-school education. In order to do this, we will have both perspectives, the opinion of the families and the teachers.
