Propuesta didáctica basada en el aprendizaje cooperativo: Un día en la granja

Abstract

RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo se expone una propuesta didáctica basada en el aprendizaje cooperativo cuya temática gira en torno a una salida a una granja. Tras una breve revisión de la historia reciente de la educación en España y los problemas que han supuesto las numerosas reformas educativas, se presenta una reseña de la evolución que ha sufrido el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en las segundas lenguas desde sus inicios. Seguidamente, se especifican las principales características que identifican el aprendizaje cooperativo, y se explica cómo llevar a cabo en el aula una de las principales técnicas que promueven este aprendizaje cooperativo: Jigsaw method. Por último, se detalla el desarrollo de una unidad didáctica en cuyas sesiones vienen incluidas actividades que promueven el aprendizaje cooperativo.

ABSTRACT: This paper consists on a didactic proposal based on cooperative learning whose topic resolves around a school trip to a farm. After a brief review of the recent history of education in Spain and the problems that the numerous education reforms have meant, this paper introduces an overview on how the process of teaching-learning second languages has evolved from its beginning. Afterwards, the main characteristics that identify cooperative learning are specified, as well as it is explained how to carry out the Jigsaw method in the classroom, that is one of the main techniques that promote the cooperative learning. Finally, the development of a didactic unit is explained into details, whose sessions include activities that promote the cooperative learning.
