Akhenatón y Nefertiti: historia de una revolución solar

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es estudiar y comprender el Período Amarniense (1352-1336 a.C.) y la subsiguiente revolución de Amarna dentro del contexto histórico-religioso de la Dinastía XVIII y no como un mero producto de la erudición e ideas religiosas de la pareja real formada por Akhenatón y Nefertiti. ¿Por qué se produjo la revolución y en qué consistió? ¿Cuál fue el papel desempeñado por los reyes en ésta? ¿Se trató realmente de una revolución impulsada por las ideas religiosas de los reyes o el establecimiento de la nueva religión fue un medio para alcanzar un fin político? Éstas son algunas de las preguntas esenciales a las que se trata de dar respuesta en este trabajo.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this Undergraduate Thesis Project is to study and understand the Amarna Period (1352-1336 BC) and the subsequent revolution of Amarna in the historical and religious context of the Eighteenth Dynasty and not as a simple product of erudition and religious ideas of the royal couple formed by Akhenaten and Nefertiti. Why came the Amarna revolution and what was involved? What was the role played by kings in the Amarna Period? Is it really was a revolution driven by religious ideas of kings or the institution of the new religion was a way to get a political purpose? These are some of the essential questions to be solved in this work.
