Resumen/Abstract
ABSTRACT Siegecraft is a military science of siege and defense of cities which was developed in ancient times from relatively early times (ninth century B.C.)
Greek historians and Roman writers have given us enough data to know its operation and effects.
At the same time, some historians, describing the development of the war, have described in detail the use of this military technique. Archeology has also left evidence of these events.
With this work, we offer a synthesis of the theory and real application presented by these authors.
