RESUMEN: El presente trabajo muestra los resultados obtenidos en la investigación realizada en el IES José Hierro, cuyo objetivo es demostrar la existencia entre el alumnado de dicho instituto, situado en San Vicente de la Barquera, de actitudes sexistas. Para tal fin, se ha optado por una metodología cuantitativa basada en una encuesta pasada al alumnado a todos los cursos del instituto. Para el análisis del trabajo de campo se parte de una serie de hipótesis relacionadas con el objetivo principal, relacionando mayores grados de sexismo en función del grupo de edad y el lugar de residencia. ABSTRACT: The present project includes the results obtained in the research carried out at the secondary school José Hierro, located in San Vicente de la Barquera. The aim of this research is to show the presence of sexist attitudes among the school students. In order to do so, the methodology used is based on the design of quantitative surveys which have been filled out by the students. The starting point of the analysis of the field work is a number of hypothesis related to the aim mentioned above, establishing relationships between higher levels of sexism depending on age and residence. Finally, a proposal for the improvement of school coexistence is included.
