Paseo Matemático Por Torrelavega

Abstract

RESUMEN En el presente Trabajo Fin de Máster se pretende presentar un innovador recurso didáctico a incluir en las aulas como son los denominados Paseos Matemáticos. Mediante la realización de atractivas actividades en nuestro entorno y utilización de diferentes metodologías, alejadas a las tradicionalmente empleadas, facilitaremos a nuestros alumnos la adquisición de contenidos y conseguiremos mostrar la cara más amable y útil de las matemáticas. En un primer bloque del documento repasaremos algunos proyectos de este tipo, con cierta relevancia, llevados a cabo en nuestro país. A continuación, definiremos los objetivos e interés de los Paseos Matemáticos y, estudiaremos la oportunidad de este recurso en el contexto educativo actual, relacionándolo con los contenidos, objetivos y competencias descritas en el currículo para matemáticas que describe la LOMCE. En el segundo bloque proponemos un posible Paseo Matemático por las calles de Torrelavega, incluyendo curiosidades y actividades relacionadas con los edificios o estructuras ante las que nos encontramos. Posteriormente analizaremos nuestra experiencia al realizar esta actividad durante el periodo de prácticas en el Centro de Enseñanza, valorando y reflexionando sobre los resultados obtenidos.

ABSTRACT Through this study we try to present an innovative educational resource known as Paseos Matemáticos (Mathematical Walking Tours). We will facilitate the acquisition of contents to our students by carrying out attractive activities in our environment and using different methodologies, way different from those which we traditionally use. Besides, we will accomplish the task of showing them the most friendly and useful side of mathematics. In the first part of the document we will revise some relevant projects which were carried out in our country and are similar to ours. Afterwards, we will define the objectives and interest of Paseos Matemáticos and we will study the opportunity of this resource in the current educational context. We will also relate it to the contents, main targets and competences described in the curriculum for mathematics created for the LOMCE. In the second part we will propose a Paseo Matemático through the streets of Torrelavega, adding curious facts and activities related to the buildings and structures that we would find. Finally we will analyse our experience after having fulfilled this activity during the internship period in the educational centre and we will also assess and consider the results obtained.
