La convivencia en un centro escolar: análisis para una propuesta de mejora

Abstract

RESUMEN La convivencia en los centros educativos es un elemento clave para poder conseguir el objetivo principal de la educación, el desarrollo integral del alumnado, además de influir en la mejora de la calidad de vida. Conocer los factores positivos y negativos que influyen en la consecución de un clima escolar cálido y positivo favorece el camino hacia la mejora de la convivencia. En este trabajo se hace un análisis del concepto de convivencia, su evolución a lo largo del tiempo y su desarrollo a nivel legislativo en el ámbito educativo. Se presta mayor atención al acoso escolar, fenómeno que está en auge actualmente, atendiendo a su descripción y a las estrategias de prevención e intervención. Se llevará a cabo a través de un estudio de caso de un centro escolar de Cantabria, finalizando con una propuesta de mejora.

ABSTRACT Cohabitation in educative centers is a key element for achieving the main objective in education, the comprehensive development of students, and it has also influence in the improvement of the quality of life. The fact of knowing the positive and negative aspects affecting the attainment of a positive and warm educational environment favors the path towards an improved cohabitation. In this undergraduate dissertation, an analysis of the concept of cohabitation is done together with an examination of its evolution in time and its development at a legislative level in the educational sphere. Bulling, a phenomenon on the rise nowadays, is the main aspect of study as attention is given to its description and to the mitigation and intervention strategies. A study of cohabitation in a school of Cantabria will be done, and a proposal for improvements will be presented
