Contenidos curriculares de las Ciencias Sociales para educar en democracia

Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo parte de la necesidad de adaptar los contenidos escolares para responder a una educación más democrática, respondiendo a los intereses y necesidades de sus alumnos, en relación a la creación de un vínculo entre éstos y su realidad. Tras un análisis sobre los tipos de currículo y las distintas formas de entender los contenidos, analizaremos una propuesta que he tenido la oportunidad de realizar en mi periodo de prácticas, con la intención de estudiar si es funcional la selección y el trabajo desde unos contenidos centrados en lo social.

ABSTRACT This dissertation evolves from the need to adapt the scholastic contents to respond to a more democratic education, responding to the interests and needs of the students, in relation to the creation of a link between them and their reality. After the analysis of the different types of curriculum and different ways of understanding the contents , we will discuss a proposal which I have had the opportunity to carry out in my internship, with the intention of considering whether the selection and thesis focussed on social contents are practical.
