El origen del cristianismo en Antioquía

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se estudia el origen y la evolución del cristianismo en la ciudad de Antioquía de Siria durante los dos primeros siglos, tratando de mostrar cómo fue la primera comunidad cristiana en esta ciudad y su evolución interna desde el mundo judaico hasta la formación de una Iglesia independiente con la creación de una sede episcopal, que será de gran relieve en los siglos posteriores del cristianismo. Nuestras principales fuentes son las Cartas de Pablo de Tarso, los Hechos de los Apóstoles, la Didajé e Ignacio de Antioquía.

ABSTRACT: This Master’s Thesis studies the origin and evolution of Christianity in the city of Antioch in Syria during the first two centuries, trying to show how it was born and the evolution from its Jewish roots to the formation of an independent Church with the creation of a bishopric, a process that turned to be of great importance in the history of Christianity. The main sources for this study are the Letters of Paul, Acts of the postles, Didache and Ignatius of Antioch.
