Importancia de la relación familia-escuela. El modelo de participación como modelo deseable

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo el objetivo general que se persigue es abordar la relación que tienen las familias con el profesorado y el resto de la comunidad educativa en el contexto escolar, y en concreto, en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Se comienza desarrollando un marco teórico en el que se muestra la importancia que tiene la familia en la vida del niño, los cambios sociales que han influido en ambos contextos, así como la importancia que tiene establecer relaciones entre los dos entornos. Además, se pretende conocer los diversos modelos de actuación que existen, las dificultades que se encuentran tanto los maestros como los docentes a la hora de compenetrarse y colaborar, así como las posibles estrategias que se podrían llevar a cabo para mejorar dicha relación. Por último, se presenta un análisis sobre un estudio realizado para conocer la realidad de cómo se promueve la relación familia-escuela en un centro educativo, centrándonos como ya hemos dicho anteriormente, en Educación Infantil. Para ello, se utilizan diferentes instrumentos: por un lado, se realizaron entrevistas que nos permitieron descubrir la opinión, en concreto de 4 docentes; y por el otro lado, se pasaron unos cuestionarios a las familias que permitieron acercarnos a su perspectiva. Los resultados nos permitirán conocer cómo después de las muchas controversias sobre este tema, existen centros en los que se propicia una estrecha relación entre ambos agentes educativos.

ABSTRACT: In this work the general objective pursued is to address the relationship they have with faculty families and the rest of the educational community in the school context, and specifically in the kindergarten stage. You start developing a theoretical framework in which the importance of the family in the child's life, the social changes that have affected both contexts, as well as the importance of establishing relations between the two environments is shown. In addition, it aims to meet the diverse role models that exist, the difficulties that are both teachers and teachers when it comes to empathize and work as well as possible strategies that could be carried out to improve the relationship. Finally, an analysis of a study to know the reality of how the family-school relationship in a school is promoted, focusing occurs as we said earlier, in kindergarten. For this purpose, different instruments are used: first, interviews allowed us to discover the opinion, in particular 4 teachers were made; and on the other hand, questionnaires were passed that allowed families closer to their perspective. The results allow us to know how after much controversy on this subject, there are centers in which a close relationship between educators is encouraged.
