Útiles de piedra pulimentada de filo cortante en el Cantábrico central. Aproximación traceológica y petrográfica.

Abstract

RESUMEN Se aborda el estudio del utillaje lítico pulimentado desde sus primeras evidencias en contextos Neolíticos hasta finales de la Edad del Hierro, enmarcados en el sector central de la cornisa cantábrica. A partir de una aproximación traceológica y petrográfica se pretende indagar en los modos de fabricación, transporte e intercambio de materias primas; así como acceder al contenido ideológico que se enmascara detrás del objeto.

ABSTRACT The subject of this thesis is the study of polished stone tools from Neolithic until the end of Iron Age contexts in the central sector of Cantabrian coast. The topic will be approached from the point of view of use-wear and petrographic analyses, in order to investigate the modes of production, transport and exchange of raw material, as well as to identify the ideological context behind the objects.
