Tamofomia de restos óseos de los niveles D y E del abrigo de Entrefoces (La Foz de Morcín, Asturias).

Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo de fin de máster se centra en el Abrigo de Entrefoces (Foz de Morcín), en el corazón de Asturias. Esta localización en pleno desfiladero, hizo que los grupos humanos que lo habitaron tuviesen amplios recursos económicos debido al paso de río cercano al yacimiento y a la posibilidad de cazar tanto especies de roquedo como de bosque. El principal objetivo es realizar una comparación de los rasgos tafonómicos de los restos faunísticos hallados en los niveles E-E1 Y D, de época Magdaleniense Inferior, para intentar verificar la hipótesis de la contemporaneidad entre las dos zonas excavadas del Abrigo, y su continuidad en el nivel D de la zona sur del yacimiento. Para ello, se realizará un estudio arqueozoológico y tafonómico de los restos óseos de ambos niveles. Con este trabajo damos por concluido el estudio de nuestro yacimiento, gracias al cual sabremos cómo vivían nuestras sociedades del pasado.

ABSTRACT This Master´s work focuses on Entrefoces rockshelter site (Foz de Morcín), in the heart of Asturias. This location provided the human groups that inhabited it a vast quantity of resources thanks to the river pass found nearby, allowing them to hunt both rock and forest species. The main goal of this research is to make a comparison of the taphonomic features of the faunal remains from levels E-E1 and D, from the Lower Magdalenian, to try to explore the hypothesis that two areas studied are contemporaneous, and his activity continues within level D, in the southern area of the deposit. In order to do so, I will be made both an archaeozoological and taphonomic study of the bones from the two levels with good results, despite not confirming the main hypothesis. With this work we conclude the study of this deposit, thanks to which we have discovered how these past societies lived.
