Planificación Urbanística y Sostenibilidad: “Análisis del Campus Universitario de las Llamas a través de indicadores de sostenibilidad urbanística

Abstract

ABSTRACT This final dregree proyect focuses on a estudy, established on the basis of the training received in “Geography and Spatial Planning”, from a specific geographic area such as “Las Llamas Universitary Campus”, belonging to “Cantabria University”. The work is based on analyzing the free universitary space and the sustainability degree evolution, between 2007 and 2015, from the tool of “sustainability urbanistic indicators”. For that, there are created two groups of indicators: indicators destined to calculate the quality of free space (green areas, pedestrian spaces and public spaces) and indicators related to sustainable resources (energy efficiency, mobility and remains). To conclude, with the results obtained in the analysis, there are written a number of proposals to improve the campus sustainability in each of the studies fields.
