Magia a la luz del umbral: el cine de Miyazaki en el aula

Abstract

RESUMEN: El alumnado de Educación Primaria no siempre dispone de una tutorización o guía adecuada que le ayude a realizar un consumo responsable y crítico de los contenidos televisivos y cinematográficos de los que es consumidor. Este aspecto se convierte hoy en día en un gran problema dada la cantidad de televisión, cine y publicidad a la que nuestros estudiantes están expuestos de forma continuada. Es por esto por lo que nos proponemos demostrar la gran importancia que tiene el trato del medio audiovisual entre el alumnado de Educación Primaria en la actual sociedad de la información y la comunicación. Hablamos de desarrollar miradas críticas al mismo tiempo que trabajamos contenidos curriculares; buscamos el tratamiento de valores positivos situando el cine como pilar fundamental en el aula y, por último, proponemos a los “Studios Ghibli” como eje vertebrador del proyecto dado el gran potencial educativo encontrado en sus largometrajes.

ABSTRACT: Primary Education students not always have a good mentor or guide to help them develop a responsible and critic use of films and television contents they are consumers of. Nowadays, this aspect becomes a great problem because of the high amount of hours children are exposed to television programs, films and advertising. For this reason, we intend to demonstrate the great importance of the engagement of audiovisual arts among students of Primary Education in the current society of information and communication. We talked about developing a critical way of looking at the same time we work curricular contents; we seek treatment of positive values positioning the cinema as a fundamental base in the classroom and, finally, we propose "Studios Ghibli" as the main focus of our project given the great educational potential of their films.
