Proyecto de educación ambiental para educación Infantil

Abstract

RESUMEN El trabajo que se presenta a continuación pretende plasmar la importancia de desarrollar una Educación Ambiental, como parte de la solución a un problema tan creciente como el que afecta al medio ambiente. Para ello, sería conveniente que este tipo de educación se integre como parte de la práctica diaria ya desde los primeros años, tanto desde las instituciones educativas, como desde los propios hogares. Como respuesta a esta necesidad, se ha diseñado una propuesta didáctica cuyos destinatarios principales son alumnos del 2º ciclo de Educación Infantil. Dicha unidad plantea una serie de objetivos a alcanzar, a través de un conjunto de actividades lúdicas que buscan la experimentación y el contacto directo de los infantes con el medio que le rodea y los objetos, seres vivos y materiales que en él se encuentran. Tras haber llevado a la práctica una propuesta similar en el C.E.I.P de Entrambasaguas, se concluye que la infancia es un colectivo ideal para comenzar a educar en materia medioambiental. La plasticidad cerebral característica de esta etapa vital, así como la facilidad que los niños poseen para absorber nuevos conocimientos, facilitan la adquisición de hábitos positivos y responsables para con su medio.

ABSTRACT The following work intends to show the importance of developing an Environmental Education as part of the solution to the growing issues affecting the environment. In order to achieve this aim, this model of education should be incorporated as part of the daily routine from the outset of childhood learning, both by educational institutions and by the family unit itself. As a response to this necessity a didactic proposal has been designed whose main addressees are students of the second stage of Pre-school Education. This proposal sets out various objectives that have to be accomplished through a series of play-based activities. These activities are designed to encourage the experimentation and the direct interaction of the children with the surrounding environment and the objects, living things and materials which are found there. After having carried out a similar proposal at the public school of Entrambasaguas, it has been concluded that childhood is the ideal group to begin to educate about environmental issues. The cerebral plasticity characteristic of this vital phase, as well as the facility children possess to absorb new knowledge, facilitates the acquisition of positive and responsable habits towards the environment.
