This paper presents the design, simulation and measurement of an Ultra-wideband MMIC 0/90º splitter. This circuit provides the local oscillator signals to the mixers of the UWB transceiver with the appropriate phase shift. The splitter shows a novel topology as it integrates in the same circuit the division of the signals as well as the 90º phase shift. The simulations give good results with a phase shift error of only 1.2º in the whole operation band, from 6 GHz to 9 GHz. Probe measurements give results similar to simulations, however, PCB measurements differ more due to the effect of different parameters difficult to characterized in simulation.es_ES
