El álbum ilustrado y el cuento tradicional: En el Bosque de Anthony Browne

Abstract

RESUMEN: El álbum ilustrado se perfila como una herramienta idónea para el trabajo de la literatura en las aulas de Primaria, ya que se trata de un vehículo fundamental para desarrollar la sensibilidad artística, el pensamiento creativo, y avivar el sentido crítico. En primer lugar, mediante el estudio del prestigioso autor e ilustrador Anthony Browne, y posteriormente, el exhaustivo análisis de su obra En el Bosque, profundizaré en el conocimiento de dicho concepto. He elegido esta composición dado que nos sumerge en una atmósfera rica de mensajes subliminares, simbolismos y múltiples significados que crean gusto y placer por la lectura en el lector. Por ello, el presente trabajo se trata de una investigación literaria enfocada a la interpretación de una obra que aborda los valores del álbum ilustrado, centrada en las relaciones familiares y los cuentos tradicionales.

ABSTRACT: The illustrated album profiles as an ideal tool to work with Literature in the Primary classrooms as it is a fundamental base to develop artistic awareness, creative thinking and strengthen critical sense. Firstly, through the prestigious author and illustrator Anthony Browne´s study and subsequently the exhaustive analysis in his work Into the forest. I will delve in the knowledge of the so called concept. I have chosen the piece as it attracts us in a rich atmosphere of subliminal messages, symbolisms and multiple meanings which create taste and pleasure in reading by the reader. Due to all of this, this work is about a literary work which tackles all the values of the illustrated album centred on family relationships and traditional tales.
