La adopción: aspectos psicológicos y educativos

Abstract

RESUMEN: Actualmente los niños adoptados representan una cantidad significativa entre los miembros de nuestra sociedad. Como este hecho afecta directamente a muchas familias, y en consecuencia, a toda la sociedad, resultan de gran interés los estudios realizados sobre la adopción y sus repercusiones. En este trabajo se pretende llevar a cabo una recopilación de los factores que inciden más directamente sobre el niño. En concreto, sobre su aspecto psicológico y sobre su educación. Para ello se estudiará la relevancia que tiene el que sea español o extranjero, la edad en que se produce la adopción, el tipo de familia que lo acoge, la forma en que lo eduque o la historia vivida por el niño hasta ahora; y cómo influirá en su vida futura. También se intentará abordar la forma en que debe ocuparse la escuela de estos casos, que en muchas ocasiones tienden a reflejar conductas más agresivas, problemas relacionales y un bajo rendimiento escolar, para que la integración del pequeño a su nueva vida, tanto familiar, como social, se produzca sin traumas y sea lo más beneficiosa y rápida posible.

ABSTRACT: Nowadays adopted children represent a significant amount among the members of our society. As this fact directly affects many families, and consequently, the whole society, studies on the adoption and its impact are of great interest. This project aims to carry out a collection of the factors that most directly affect adopted children, specifically, the psychological aspects and their education. For this, the relevance of being Spanish or a foreigner, the age at which the adoption occurs, the type of family that receives him/her, the past history of the child, the education he/she receives, and how it will affect his/her future life will be studied here. We will also care about the way that school should deal with these cases, which often tend to reflect more aggressive behaviours, problems with relationships and poor school performance, so thatthe integration of a small child to his/her new life, both familiarly, as socially, can occur without causing a trauma and be as quick as possible and beneficial.
