Resumen/Abstract
ABSTRACT: The objective of this project is to optimize and redesign a Triangular monopole slot antenna designed to work in On-Body communications. Originally, the antenna was working in the 5.8 GHz ISM band and in the first steps of the design we had to modify the antenna to establish its resonant frequency in the 2.4 GHz band. Finally, we changed the antenna substrate to CuClad 217LX, since this substrate is more flexible and therefore more optimum for communications on the human body. During the development of this project, we show the theoretical simulations of the designs and experimental tests of the antenna.
