Distribución del tamaño de las empresas en España y Cantabria por sectores

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo consiste en el estudio de la distribución de las empresas en los sectores alimentación y alojamiento en la Comunidad autónoma de Cantabria y España. El principal objetivo de este proyecto es conocer el tamaño de las empresas teniendo en cuenta tres variables principales: el número de empleados, las ventas y, finalmente, el activo. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo se ha utilizado la base de datos SABI que nos aporta toda la información necesaria sobre estos sectores a través de un software que distribuye estos datos. Una vez recopilada la información precisa se ha aplicado la distribución de Pareto para comprobar el tamaño de las empresas analizadas según las variables descritas anteriormente en los años 2005, 2008 y 2011. A través del análisis de los resultados y aplicando las gráficas rango-tamaño queda demostrado que se cumple la validez de esta ley.

ABSTRACT: This project consists in the study of the distribution of the alimentary and accommodation sectors in Cantabria and Spain. The main objective of this work is to know how is the size of the companies keeping three variables in mind: the number of employees, sales and, finally, the asset. In order to carry through this aim, I have used SABI data base which provides us all the necessary information about these sectors by a software that distributes these data. Once the essential information has been compiled, I have made use of the Pareto Law in order to confirm the size of the analyzed companies according to the variable which have been described previously in years 2005, 2008 and 2011. Across the analysis of the results and applying the rank-size graphics it is demonstrated that the validity of this law is come true.
