Device and method for measuring a coating comprising bituminous binders

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The invention relates to a device and a method for measuring a coating containing bituminous binder on a surface to which said coating containing bituminous binder has previously been applied. The device comprises a plate joined to a bar and covered with an absorbent material, the assembly formed by the bar, the plate and the absorbent material being designed so as to exert pressure on said surface. Said absorbent material covers the side of the plate that is to be in contact with said surface in such a way that, when pressure is exerted on said surface impregnated with bituminous binder, said material absorbs a quantity of the applied coating.

RESUMEN. Dispositivo y método de medición de un riego con ligante bituminoso sobre una superficie sobre la que previamente se ha aplicado dicho riego con ligante bituminoso. El dispositivo comprende una placa unida a una barra y recubierta por un material absorbente, estando el conjunto formado por la barra, la placa y el material absorbente configurado para ejercer una presión sobre dicha superficie. Dicho material absorbente recubre el lado de la placa destinado a estar en contacto con dicha superficie de forma que, al ejercer presión sobre dicha superficie impregnada de ligante bituminoso, dicho material absorbe una cantidad del riego aplicado.
