Subvertir lo real mediante la hibridación fantástico-humorística en la pintura de ficción española: el caso de Paco Pomet

Abstract

El presente artículo intenta desvelar cómo la hibridación de lo fantástico con el humor en la pintura de ficción española puede llegar a cuestionar lo real. Para ello, primero se encuadra el estudio en aquellos antecedentes sobre el tema. A continuación, se pasa al análisis de las dimensiones generadas mediante las siguientes combinaciones: pintura y ficción; pintura y humor; ficción pictórica y lo fantástico; ficción pictórica fantástica y humor. Posteriormente, la indagación se centra en observar cómo este último ítem se manifiesta en el caso español a través de la pintura del artista Paco Pomet. Este recorrido permitirá discutir si es posible el encuentro de la hibridación fantástico-humorística en la ficción pictórica, para establecer, en el tramo final, conclusiones relativas a cómo la invención ficcional puede representar un constitutivo epistemológico al comprobar que factores, en principio distantes, como lo fantástico y el humor, pueden darse cita en la obra pictórica.

This article attempts to reveal how the hybridization of the fantastic with humour in Spanish fictional painting can challenge reality. To this end, the study is first framed within the background on the topic. It then moves on to an analysis of the dimensions generated through the following combinations: painting and fiction; painting and humour; pictorial fiction and the fantastic; fantastic pictorial fiction and humour. The investigation then focuses on how this last element manifests itself in the Spanish case through the painting of the artist Paco Pomet. This discussion will allow us to discuss whether the hybridization of the fantastic and humour is possible in pictorial fiction. Finally, we will draw conclusions regarding how fictional invention can represent an epistemological constitutive factor by verifying that factors, initially distant, such as the fantastic and humour, can come together in pictorial work.
