Enseñar el francés desde su diversidad: Un enfoque intercultural adaptado a la pluralidad lingüística y cultural del mundo francófono

Abstract

En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se aborda la necesidad de replantear la enseñanza del Francés como Lengua Extranjera (FLE) en el sistema educativo español, concretamente, en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. El francés es una lengua internacional hablada en los cinco continentes. Sin embargo, a la hora de su enseñanza en los centros escolares, esta se basa habitualmente en manuales que priorizan el francés estándar, estrechamente vinculado al modelo franco-parisino, invisibilizando la riqueza lingüística y cultural del espacio francófono. Ante esta situación, este trabajo defiende la incorporación de un enfoque intercultural en la enseñanza del FLE, tal como promueven el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia y la legislación educativa española vigente. Para ello, en un primer momento se contextualizan los conceptos de francofonía e interculturalidad en la didáctica del FLE en la ESO. Finalmente, se propone una forma diferente de abordar la diversidad léxica y cultural del espacio francófono mediante una propuesta de unidad didáctica dirigida al segundo ciclo de la ESO (nivel B1), teniendo como eje temático el mundo de la gastronomía. De este modo, se pretende ofrecer una alternativa pedagógica que rompa con el modelo normativo tradicional y contribuya a una enseñanza de FLE adaptada a la realidad actual.

This Master's thesis addresses the need to rethink the teaching of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) in the Spanish education system, specifically in Compulsory Secondary Education. French is an international language spoken on all five continents. However, when it comes to teaching it in schools, it is usually based on textbooks that prioritise standard French, closely linked to the Franco-Parisian model, making the linguistic and cultural richness of the French-speaking world invisible. In view of this situation, this paper argues for the incorporation of an intercultural approach in FLE teaching, as promoted by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and current Spanish educational legislation. To this end, the concepts of francophony and interculturality are first contextualised in the teaching of FLE in ESO. Finally, a different way of approaching the lexical and cultural diversity of the French-speaking world is proposed by means of a teaching unit aimed at the second cycle of ESO (level B1), with the world of gastronomy as its thematic axis. In this way, the aim is to offer a pedagogical alternative that breaks with the traditional normative model and contributes to the teaching of FLE adapted to the current reality.
