Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene como objetivo analizar y comparar las ayudas públicas dirigidas a pymes en Cantabria, con las ofrecidas por otras comunidades autónomas (Madrid, Navarra y País Vasco), así como a nivel nacional. Para ello, se ha realizado una clasificación de las ayudas según la actividad que fomentan, observando una fuerte presencia de subvenciones centradas en la digitalización y la modernización industrial, especialmente fuera de Cantabria. Uno de los principales resultados es la ausencia de ayudas cántabras dirigidas a la digitalización, un aspecto clave en la competitividad actual de las empresas.
En el trabajo hemos dado a conocer cómo se encuentra el tejido regional en cuanto a accesibilidad de las ayudas, y se ha analizado la posible correlación entre el nivel de innovación de cada comunidad y la intensidad de las ayudas disponibles para sus pymes. El estudio también destaca que Cantabria ofrece un menor número de ayudas y con menor cuantía económica que las regiones comparadas. Además, mientras que en otras comunidades las ayudas son gestionadas directamente por sus gobiernos autonómicos, en Cantabria se delega en entidades públicas como SODERCAN o la Cámara de Comercio, lo que podría presentar un problema de descentralización. El análisis concluye que Cantabria necesita fortalecer su estrategia de apoyo a las pymes mediante líneas enfocadas a la digitalización y el crecimiento industrial
This Final Degree Project aims to analyze and compare public aid for SMEs in Cantabria with that offered by other autonomous communities (Madrid, Navarre, and the Basque Country), as well as at the national level. To this end, the aid has been classified according to the activity they promote, observing a strong presence of subsidies focused on digitalization and industrial modernization, especially outside Cantabria. One of the main findings is the absence of Cantabrian aid aimed at digitalization, a key aspect of current business competitiveness. In this project, we have outlined the regional status of aid accessibility and analyzed the possible correlation between the level of innovation in each community and the intensity of the aid available to its SMEs. The study also highlights that Cantabria offers fewer and lower amounts of aid than the regions compared. Furthermore, while in other regions, aid is managed directly by their regional governments, in Cantabria it is delegated to public entities such as SODERCAN or the Chamber of Commerce, which could present a decentralization problem. The analysis concludes that Cantabria needs to strengthen its SME support strategy through initiatives focused on digitalization and industrial growth
