Análisis económico del transporte de mercancías por carretera en España y Cantabria

Abstract

En este ensayo se analizará y se expondrá el sector del transporte de mercancías por carretera desde una doble perspectiva, microeconómica y macroeconómica. Primero se expondrá el sector a nivel agregado, examinando la evolución de su actividad, empleo y peso económico. Posteriormente se estudiarán indicadores empleados para evaluar la eficiencia y la estructura de costes. Estas variables se estudiarán realizando diversas regresiones con el programa Gretl. Finalmente, con las regresiones efectuadas y sus resultados expuestos, se interpretarán para obtener unas conclusiones

This paper will analyze and present the road freight transport sector from a double perspective, microeconomic and macroeconomic. First, the sector will be presented at an aggregate level, examining the evolution of its activity, employment and economic weight. Subsequently, indicators used to evaluate efficiency and cost structure will be studied. These variables will be studied by performing various regressions with the Gretl program. Finally, with the regressions carried out and their results presented, they will be interpreted to obtain conclusions
