dc.description.abstract | A compact differential phase shifter structure that
exhibits a full-band operation and easy mechanical manufacture
is presented. It consists of a rectangular waveguide loaded with
continuous senoidal ridge section and corrugations. A prototype
of 90º differential phase shifter with reference to an empty
waveguide of the same length was designed and tested for the
WR22 waveguide band. Moreover, manufacturing tolerances
have been taken into account in order to analyse the impact in
the electrical performance. The differential phase shifter reveals
an excellent behaviour with an average phase shift of 88º ± 3°,
return losses better than 20 dB and insertion losses better than
0,1 dB over a 50% bandwidth (30-50 GHz). | es_ES |
