A través de este trabajo de fin de grado se pretende hacer un análisis exhaustivo de la reciente prestación no contributiva de la Seguridad Social, el Ingreso Mínimo Vital, configurado en la Ley 19/2021, de 20 de diciembre, por la que se establece el mismo. Esta nace en un contexto de urgente necesidad a nivel social, económico y sanitario causado por la pandemia mundial por COVID-19, aunque, la idea de creación de dicha prestación se remontase tiempo atrás para suplir las necesidades básicas de cualquier persona en situación de especial vulnerabilidad y se mantiene en el presente por dicha causa. Con esto pretendemos estudiar todos los aspectos importantes, analizar sus efectos positivos y negativos y poder llegar a una conclusión fundamentada.
Through this final degree project, the aim is to carry out an exhaustive analysis of the recent non-contributory Social Security benefit, the Minimum Living Income, configured in Law 19/2021, of December 20, which establishes the same. This was born in the context of urgent need at a social, economic and health level caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, although the idea of creating this benefit dates back some time to meet the basic needs of any person in a special vulnerability situation and remains in the present for this reason. With this we intend to study all the important aspects, analyze their positive and negative effects and be able to reach a well-founded conclusion.
