In this communication the design of a linear array based on three aperture coupled patch antennas in W band is presented. Moreover, the radiation features of the structure are improved with a chiral metamaterial cover. In order to characterize the influence of the cover on the radiation pattern, a single patch antenna is analyzed and its radiation pattern with and without the chiral cover is examined. After noticing the enhancement of the directivity and the narrowing of the main lobe when the cover is placed above the patch antenna, the set constituted by the linear array and the cover is analyzed. The obtained results support the effectiveness of including the cover.es_ES
