Estudio básico de trazado, movimiento de tierras y drenaje de la supresión del paso a nivel nº.61 en el p.k. 496/340 de la red de FEVE Santander-Llanes

Abstract

Este estudio básico de trazado, movimiento de tierras y drenaje aborda la eliminación del paso a nivel n.º 61, ubicado en el PK 496/340 de la línea FEVE Santander–Llanes, en el término municipal de Alfoz de Lloredo. El municipio de Alfoz de Lloredo, situado en la costa occidental de Cantabria, es una zona de gran riqueza natural y paisajística. Su proximidad a enclaves turísticos como Comillas, Santillana del Mar y las Cuevas de Altamira ha favorecido el desarrollo del sector turístico, complementando las actividades tradicionales de agricultura y ganadería. Su entorno, caracterizado por valles y la presencia del río Saja, ha condicionado históricamente las infraestructuras de comunicación y movilidad dentro del municipio. Siguiendo el plan de ADIF para la supresión de pasos a nivel en todo el país, se ha identificado la necesidad de eliminar el paso a nivel Nº 61 en el P.K. 496/340 de la línea FEVE Santander- Llanes, sustituyéndolo por un paso superior que garantice la seguridad tanto del tráfico ferroviario como del tráfico rodado. La expansión del municipio y el incremento de la actividad en la zona han generado una mayor afluencia de vehículos y peatones, lo que hace imprescindible una infraestructura más segura y eficiente. Este estudio básico tiene por objeto analizar y fundamentar las opciones geométricas de trazado, cuantificar y clasificar los volúmenes de movimiento de tierras necesarios (excavaciones, rellenos y gestión de materiales) y dimensionar las soluciones de drenaje longitudinal compatibles con el tipo de operación. Además de responder a una necesidad funcional, también se tiene en cuenta la sostenibilidad y la integración ambiental.

This basic study of layout, earthworks and drainage addresses the elimination of level crossing no. 61, located at PK 496/340 on the FEVE Santander–Llanes line, in the municipality of Alfoz de Lloredo. The municipality of Alfoz de Lloredo, located on the western coast of Cantabria, is an area of great natural and scenic beauty. Its proximity to tourist attractions such as Comillas, Santillana del Mar and the Altamira Caves has encouraged the development of the tourism sector, complementing traditional agricultural and livestock activities. Its environment, characterised by valleys and the presence of the River Saja, has historically conditioned the communication and mobility infrastructure within the municipality. Following ADIF's plan to eliminate level crossings throughout the country, the need to eliminate level crossing No. 61 at P.K. 496/340 on the FEVE Santander-Llanes line has been identified, replacing it with an overpass that guarantees the safety of both rail and road traffic. The expansion of the municipality and the increase in activity in the area have led to a greater influx of vehicles and pedestrians, making safer and more efficient infrastructure essential. The purpose of this basic study is to analyse and substantiate the geometric layout options, quantify and classify the necessary earthworks (excavations, fills and material management) and dimension the longitudinal drainage solutions compatible with the type of operation. In addition to responding to a functional need, sustainability and environmental integration are also taken into account.
