Resumen/Abstract
The Project aims to address serious road safety concerns along the existing route, where a
notable number of accidents currently occur. Improving safety conditions for all road users
is one of the main objectives of this intervention.
In addition, the road is intended to adapt to the current and future needs of the surrounding
environment, taking into account the ongoing population growth and the presence of the
nearby hospital, which generates increased and diverse traffic demands. The new
infrastructure is therefore conceived as a response to the area's evolving urban and
mobility context.
To achieve these goals, the project involves the construction of a bypass road to Urduliz.
Also includes an improvement of the alignment and an expansion of the road platform,
incorporating a dedicated bike lane to protect vulnerable road users.
