Geometric realignment and platform widening of road CA-811. Villanueva de la Peña - Herrera de Ibio

Abstract

La finalidad de realizar este proyecto es mejorar las condiciones existentes en la carretera CA-811, considerando un nuevo trazado y una ampliación de plataforma incluyendo un carril bici. Se considera la misma como de nueva construcción. La mejora de trazado y ampliación de plataforma de CA-811 supone una sustancial mejora a la calidad de la vía existente, el cual se encuentra en una situación inaceptable. La incorporación de un carril bici en la carretera CA811, entre Villanueva de la Peña y Herrera de Ibio, no solo aumentará la seguridad y la calidad de la vía para todos los usuarios, sino que también fomentará un estilo de vida más saludable y sostenible, mejorando significativamente la calidad de vida de la comunidad local.

The purpose of this project is to improve the existing conditions of the CA-811 road, by proposing a new alignment and a platform widening that includes the addition of a bicycle lane. The intervention is considered as new construction. The improvement of the alignment and the widening of the CA-811 platform represents a substantial enhancement in the quality of the existing road, which is currently in an unacceptable condition. The inclusion of a bicycle lane on the CA-811 road, between Villanueva de la Peña and Herrera de Ibio, will not only increase safety and road quality for all users, but will also promote a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle, significantly improving the quality of life for the local community.
