Los storymaps en la educación: revisión sistemática en contextos educativos de habla hispana

Abstract

Desde su lanzamiento en el año 2012, los storymaps han ido aumentando su empleo herramientas para la divulgación y difusión de conocimiento online. Su versatilidad y fácil manejo han hecho, además, que se introduzca como una herramienta educativa muy interesante, utilizándose en todos los niveles educativos. En este artículo planteamos hacer una selección de los trabajos de investigación publicados entre 2012 y la actualidad que tuvieran como temática el uso de los storymaps en educación en el ámbito hispanoamericano a partir de una revisión bibliográfica sistemática basada en las directivas de Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis. El análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo tanto de los textos como de los storymaps asociados nos ha permitido comprobar el empleo que se está realizando en el ámbito educativo, en qué niveles y cuáles son las herramientas más empleadas.

Since their launch in 2012, storymaps have been increasing their presence in all fields as tools for the dissemination and diffusion of on-line knowledge. Their flexibility and user-friendly nature have also led to them being used at all levels of education as a very interesting educational tool. In this paper we propose to select the research papers published between 2012 and the present that had as their subject matter the use of storymaps in education in Latin America based on a systematic literature review based on the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of both the texts and the associated storymaps has allowed us to verify the use of storymaps in education, at what levels and which tools are most used.
