dc.description.abstract | Long period fiber optic gratings written in single mode optical fibers are becoming a very powerful technique for the construction of structural monitoring transducers. We propose a new transducer with optimal characteristics in this field. The structure of the transducer is designed using two semireflective splices forming a Fabry-perot cavity with a long period fiber grating that can be used to obtain simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature. | es_ES |
