El gobierno doméstico regio ampliado en Alcalá la Real. Acuerdos del Consejo Real de Castilla sobre casas municipales

Abstract

El sistema político-administrativo medieval y moderno extendió espacialmente el régimen de funcionamiento del núcleo básico de organización social, la casa y la familia. La monarquía representó el estrato superior de integración de tal estructura, de modo que su trama doméstica ampliada articuló el territorio de los reinos. La presencia del Consejo Real en el ámbito doméstico del rey le confirió un destacado papel en ese proceso, por el cual el territorio y el ámbito decisorio y reservado de Palacio quedaban integrados. En las consultas celebradas con el rey por el organismo en ese espacio (Consultas de Viernes) destacaron aquellos acuerdos relativos a la reproducción de hitos materiales que permitían tal prolongación de orden doméstico. Como las casas municipales para reunión del cabildo o residencia del corregidor, según se aprecia en el caso de Alcalá la Real. Tales entes inmobiliarios eran recipiente de representaciones transubstanciadas del rey que soportaban la continuidad territorial de la Corte, convertida así en parte indistinguible de la realidad local.

The Medieval and Modern political-administrative system extended the functioning regime of the basic nucleus of social organisation, the household and the family. The monarchy represented the highest stratum of integration of such structure, so that its extended domestic fabric articulated the territory of the kingdoms. The presence of the Royal Council in the king's domestic sphere gave it an important role in this process, whereby the territory and the decision-making and reserved sphere of the Palace were integrated. In the consultations held with the king by the Council in that space (Consultas de Viernes), stood out those agreements relating to the successive arrangement of material facilities that allowed such an extension of this domestic order. Such as the municipal houses for the meeting of the town council or the residence of the corregidor, as can be clearly seen in the case of the town of Alcalá la Real. Such real estate entities were the recipients of transubstantiated representations of the king that supported the territorial continuity of the Court. Thus, Court and local reality constituted an indistinguishable unity.
