La utilización de canciones y cuentos como recurso didáctico en inglés L2. Conocemos las culturas

Abstract

Este trabajo aborda la importancia de usar canciones y cuentos como herramientas educativas en la enseñanza del inglés como segunda lengua extranjera en la Educación Primaria. El uso de estos recursos didácticos en las aulas de inglés ofrece múltiples beneficios, y sobre el marco teórico se resaltan algunas cuestiones importantes que conllevan la utilización de estas herramientas, justificando con varios autores y documentos el potencial de este método de enseñanza. Para apoyar la justificación teórica, llevamos a cabo una propuesta didáctica que se desarrolla en el segundo ciclo de Educación Primaria, concretamente para los alumnos de tercero. La propuesta trata el tema de la cultura, aprendiendo los diferentes países y continentes para conocer sus tradiciones y conocer el mundo que nos rodea. Con esta intervención en el aula pretendemos un ambiente lúdico y de trabajo en equipo, que aumente el interés y la motivación de los alumnos.

This work take the importance of using songs and stories as educational tools in teaching English as a second foreign language in Primary Education. The use of these teaching resources in English classrooms offers multiple benefits, and the theoretical framework highlights some important issues that involve the use of these tools, justifying with several authors and documents the potential of this teaching method. To support the theoretical justification, we carry out a didactic proposal that is developed in the second cycle of Primary Education, specifically for third grade students. The proposal deals with the topic of culture, learning about different countries and continents to learn about their traditions and get to know the world around us. With this intervention in the classroom, we aim for a playful and teamwork environment that increases the interest and motivation of the students.
