La importancia de la educación artística y cómo se imparte en la etapa de Educación Infantil

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo trabajar y visibilizar la importancia de la educación artística y cómo se imparte en la etapa de Educación Infantil, siendo el foco principal promover la expresión artística entre compañeros del gremio y, así, demostrar y verificar los beneficios de la misma en el alumnado, más particularmente en el de 4 y 5 años. La expresión artística tiene como beneficios, entre otros, fomentar la expresión de sentimientos, desarrollar la creatividad y adquirir competencias emocionales y sociales básicas para el desarrollo integral del niño. Para corroborar la información del presente trabajo de investigación, se ha realizado un marco teórico basado en fuentes externas que justifiquen la información de manera selectiva y adecuada. En primer lugar, se ha definido qué es el arte y la expresión artística para, posteriormente, definir los tipos de expresión artística que existen. A continuación, se aportan datos sobre el vínculo entre las emociones y la expresión artística, además de multitud de referencias sobre la importancia de la educación artística y cómo se contempla en el currículo de Educación Infantil. Para finalizar, se muestra el diseño de una unidad didáctica denominada “¡Queremos ser artistas! “, la cual tiene como objetivo principal trabajar la expresión artística en el alumnado y promover la educación artística como elemento fundamental en las aulas de Educación Infantil

The aim of this research project is to work on and make visible the importance of art education and how it is taught in the Early Childhood Education stage, the main focus being to promote artistic expression among in the colleagues of the profession and, thus, demonstrate and verify its benefits in students, more particularly in those aged 4 and 5. The benefits of artistic expression include, among others, encouraging the expression of feelings, developing creativity and acquiring basic emotional and social competences for the integral development of the child. In order to corroborate the information in this research work, a theoretical framework has been drawn up based on external sources that justifies the information in a selective and appropriate manner. First of all, we have defined what art and artistic expression are, and then we have defined the types of artistic expression that exist. Next, data is provided on the link between emotions and artistic expression, as well as a multitude of references about the importance of arts education and how it is contemplated in the Early Childhood Education curriculum. Finally, the design of a didactic unit called "¡Queremos ser artistas!" (We want to be artists!) is shown. Its main objective is to work on artistic expression in pupils and to promote art education as a fundamental education in infant education classrooms
