El REACT-EU en Cantabria

Abstract

El objetivo de este TFG es el impacto de los fondos europeos en el desarrollo económico y social, centrándose en el fondo REACT y su aplicación en Cantabria, examinando cómo estas ayudas han impulsado la recuperación tras la pandemia de COVID-19, fa-voreciendo la transición verde, la digitalización y la modernización de la formación pro-fesional. Los fondos europeos son herramientas clave de la Unión Europea para reducir desigualdades regionales, mejorar infraestructuras y promover la sostenibilidad me-diante programas como el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER), el Fondo Social Europeo (FSE) y el Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia (MRR) han finan-ciado proyectos para impulsar la innovación, la digitalización y la economía verde. En este trabajo nos centraremos principalmente en el fondo REACT fue creado como res-puesta a la crisis derivada de la pandemia, con el objetivo de apoyar una recuperación económica sostenible e inclusiva, en Cantabria, estos fondos han impulsado la transi-ción ecológica, financiando proyectos de eficiencia energética, energías renovables, movilidad sostenible y protección ambiental. Este trabajo permitirá comprender el papel de los fondos europeos en la transformación regional hacia un modelo más sostenible y competitivo

The aim of this TFG is the impact of European funds on economic and social development, focusing on the REACT fund and its application in Cantabria, examining how these aids have boosted recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, favouring the green transition, digitalisation and the modernisation of vocational training. European funds are key tools of the European Union to reduce regional inequalities, improve infrastructure and promote sustainability. Programmes such as the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM) have funded projects to boost innovation, digitisation and the green economy. In this paper we will focus mainly on the REACT fund, which was created in response to the crisis resulting from the pandemic, with the aim of supporting a sustainable and inclusive economic recovery. In Cantabria, these funds have boosted the green transition, financing projects in energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable mobility and environmental protection. This work will help to understand the role of European funds in the regional transformation towards a more sustainable and competitive model
