Las redes sociales han ido ganando importancia a lo largo de los años, no solo en el ocio y el tiempo libre del alumnado de secundaria o de la población en general, sino en las aulas, en contextos formales como colegios o institutos. Por esa razón, es necesario dar a los alumnos la posibilidad de trabajar con ellas, enseñarles a hacer un uso responsable de ellas, y por otro lado, adaptar el aula de inglés a esta nueva forma de trabajar y de aprender que trae consigo el uso de las redes sociales. Conviene que, como docentes, saquemos el máximo partido a todas las herramientas que tenemos disponibles.
Este trabajo pone de manifiesto la importancia de las redes sociales para el aprendizaje de vocabulario en inglés, en concreto de formas fijas como phrasal verbs, que a menudo causan problemas a los aprendices, no solo por el gran número de ellos que existen en el lenguaje coloquial, sino también por su complejidad y por los múltiples significados que pueden formar. Además, en este trabajo se presenta una propuesta de innovación educativa en la que el alumnado aprende los distintos significados contextuales de ciertos phrasal verbs a través de la red social Tik Tok.
Social networks have
gained importance over the years, not only in the leisure
time of high school students or the general population, but also in the classroom,

project highlights the importance of social networks for learning English
