Propuesta didáctica para trabajar la historia del pueblo gitano en el currículo de secundaria: la gran redada, prisión general de gitanos de 1749

Abstract

El objetivo del presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster es poner de manifiesto la realidad histórica del pueblo gitano, marcada de siglos de migración, persecuciones y discriminación. El sistema educativo debe ser el pilar fundamental para conseguir su integración en la sociedad, una manera de conseguirlo es introduciendo su historia y cultura en el currículo, conocer su historia ayuda a desmontar estereotipos negativos y a fomentar el respeto hacia la diversidad cultural. Construir una sociedad más justa e inclusiva. Su estudio enriquece la comprensión de nuestra historia y nuestra sociedad. Fomentar el pensamiento crítico, la empatía y la capacidad de analizar las causas y consecuencias de la discriminación, trabajar la interculturalidad por parte de los centros y de los profesores es imprescindible para que el alumnado gitano se sienta parte integrada de la comunidad socioeducativa. Para ello, se estudia de uno de los hechos más oscuros de la historia española es la Gran Redada de 1749, donde miles de gitanos y gitanas de todas las edades y condición fueron detenidos y encarcelados de manera indiscriminada por el mero hecho de ser gitanos. A través del análisis de fuentes bibliográficas, se analizarán las causas y efectos de este hecho.

The aim of this Master's final project is to highlight the historical reality of the gypsies people, marked by centuries of migration, persecution and discrimination. The education system must be the fundamental backbone to achieve their integration into society, and one way to achieve this is by introducing their history and culture into the curriculum. Knowing their history helps to dismantle negative stereotypes and foster respect for cultural diversity. Building a fairer and more inclusive society. Their study enriches the understanding of our history and our society. Encouraging critical thinking, empathy and the ability to analyse the causes and consequences of discrimination, working on interculturality on the part of the centres and teachers is essential for Roma pupils to feel that they are an integrated part of the socio-educational community. To do this, we study one of the darkest events in Spanish history, the Great Raid of 1749, in which thousands of gypsies, of all ages and conditions were indiscriminately arrested and imprisoned for the mere fact of being gypsies. Through the analysis of bibliographical sources, the causes and effects of this event will be analysed.
