ChatGPT en el aula de matemáticas: una contribución

Abstract

El uso de la inteligencia artificial en el aula ofrece importantes oportunidades para mejorar el aprendizaje y la gestión del tiempo. En este trabajo se explorará cómo puede contribuir ChatGPT en el proceso de aprendizaje, ya sea como recurso educativo en el aula o como asistente en el estudio. Se deja patente que, aunque los resultados obtenidos son positivos, pues los estudiantes muestran un desempeño académico notable y una interacción eficiente con la IA, esta sigue requiriendo optimización y un docente como guía en su implementación en el aula. Incorporar ChatGTP en actividades de clase influye positivamente en la motivación y el interés del alumnado, quienes lo consideran un buen recurso educativo. Con todo, se señalan también las limitaciones y la necesidad de actualización continua, tanto de los docentes como de la propia tecnología.

The use of artificial intelligence in the classroom offers significant opportunities to enhance learning and time management. In this work, we will explore how ChatGPT can contribute to the learning process, either as an educational resource in the classroom or as an assistant for studying. It is evident that, although the results obtained are positive—students demonstrate remarkable academic performance and efficient interaction with AI—there is still a need for optimization and guidance from educators in its implementation in the classroom. Incorporating ChatGPT into classroom activities positively influences student motivation and interest, and they consider it a valuable educational resource. However, limitations and the need for continuous updates, both for educators and the technology itself, are also highlighted.
