Resumen/Abstract
In this paper, the design procedure of a single diode 6.5-13 GHz frequency doubler is presented. A low cost Shottky diode is used in series configuration with external bias. The particular input and output resonant networks' requirements and design are described. The frequency doubler features 10.5 dB conversion loss and >24 dB fundamental and third harmonic rejection at +4 dBm input level.
