dc.description.abstractWe report on the preparation and characterization of a bilayer system on (0 0 1) SrTiO₃ substrates consisting of a YBa₂Cu₃O₇ (YBCO) superconducting layer grown on a conducting La₀.₇Sr₀.₃MnO₃ (LSMO) buffer layer. Films were prepared by all chemical solution reposition process using propionates precursors for LSMO and trifluoroacetates for YBCO. Highly epitaxial LSMO layers of 30 nm with atomic flat surfaces have been obtained at 1000 C with magnetic and electrical properties similar to the bulk ones. The YBCO growth conditions for epitaxial layers of 300 nm were optimized giving rise to high performance bilayers structures with critical current densities, JC, about 2 MA/cm₂ at 77 K.es_ES
