El presente trabajo pretende estudiar los flujos de inmigración en España durante el periodo 1995-2020. El estudio se dividirá en 3 compartimentaciones dentro de este periodo referentes a las etapas de bonanza económica, crisis financiera y la posterior recuperación de la economía hasta la crisis del COVID-19.
El análisis de los flujos vendrá determinado en función del perfil predominante, su integración en el país receptor y sus efectos en el crecimiento económico. Con todo ello, confirmaremos nuestra hipótesis de estudio, esta es, en las épocas donde existe cierta bonanza económica la legislación respecto a la inmigración ha sido más permisiva y, por el contrario, en las épocas de recesión los avances no han sido tan grandes.
Durante el trabajo se presentarán diferentes gráficos y tablas para una mayor compresión del fenómeno y su evolución. Los datos utilizados son obtenidos a través del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) y Banco Mundial entre otros, los cuales han sido tratados y recogidos por elaboración propia
The present work aims to study the immigration flows in Spain during the period 1995- 2020. The study will be divided into three sections within this period, referring to the stages of economic prosperity, financial crisis, and the subsequent economic recovery until the COVID-19 crisis.
The analysis of the flows will be determined based on the predominant profile, their integration into the host country, and their effects on economic growth. With all this, we will confirm our research hypothesis, which is that during times of economic prosperity, immigration legislation has been more permissive, whereas during times of recession, the advances have not been as significant.
Throughout the work, different graphs and tables will be presented for a better understanding of the phenomenon and its evolution. The data used is obtained from the National Institute of Statistics (INE) and the World Bank, among others, which have been processed and compiled by us
