Guía para el alumno en el buque Hypatia de Alejandría

Abstract

Los buques ROPAX que conectan los archipiélagos españoles entre ellos y con la península ibérica son de gran importancia ya que establecen una conexión permanente y contribuyen al transporte de mercancías. Habiendo realizado las prácticas de embarque a bordo del buque convencional Hypatia de Alejandría de la compañía Baleària, se ha buscado recoger en este escrito las labores que desempeña el alumno en su día a día en este tipo de buques, así como los sistemas con los que estará en contacto durante el embarque. Como alumna, mi objetivo es reflejar en este trabajo todo lo aprendido durante el embarque en relación a seguridad, carga, maniobrabilidad, características y sistemas del buque… Pero más allá de todo esto, el objetivo principal del trabajo es facilitar el camino del aprendizaje a los siguientes alumnos que decidan realizar sus prácticas de embarque en el buque Hypatia de Alejandría, mostrando lo que se encontrará durante el embarque.

ROPAX vessels that connect the Spanish islands between the and with the peninsula are of great importance because of the impact they generate as they offer a permanent passage and contribute to the maritime transport of different kind of goods. Having done the cadetship onboard M/V Hypatia de Alejandría from Baleària Company, I have tried to gather in this document the Jobs that the deck cadet will do in a daily basis in this kind of ships. Moreover, give an explanation about the different systems and equipment with which the cadet will be in contact during his training period. As a deck cadet myself, the main objective is to show in this document all the things learned concerning safety and security, cargo operations, maneuvers, characteristics and systems of the vessel… But further than that, the main objective is to make the learning path easier for future deck cadets that will choose to make their cadetship onboard M/V Hypatia de Alejandría, showing them what they will find onboard.
