Operaciones de carga y descarga en el buque petroquímico Virgen del Cisne

Abstract

El presente trabajo final de grado con título “Operaciones de carga y descarga en el buque petroquímico Virgen del Cisne” está destinado a completar los estudios del grado en Ingeniería Náutica y Trasporte Marítimo y tiene como objetivo principal mencionar las diferentes etapas en las operaciones de carga y descarga en un buque petroquímico. Para ello utilizaré la información y experiencia obtenida durante los 6 meses ininterrumpidos de embarque en el buque Virgen del Cisne como alumno de puente apoyándome de los distintos conceptos teóricos que he adquirido durante mi etapa como alumno de la escuela técnica superior de náutica de Santander. Al comienzo del trabajo se realizará una breve descripción teórica de los peligros de la carga que transporta el buque Virgen del Cisne y de los distintos equipos y materiales utilizados a bordo para las operaciones de carga y descarga, los cuales son fundamentales. Por lo tanto, el lector se podrá familiarizar de los peligros de las cargas transportadas en un buque petroquímico y de los distintos equipos y materiales utilizados. Posteriormente se hará una descripción detallada de todos los procedimientos de la carga y descarga en un buque petroquímico incluyendo el transporte de la carga. El resultado final de este trabajo es realizar un guía sobre los procedimientos en las operaciones de carga y descarga en un buque petroquímico con el fin de ayudar a la comprensión de su operatividad de forma eficaz.

This final degree project entitled "Loading and unloading operations on the petrochemical vessel Virgen del Cisne" is intended to complete the studies of the degree in Nautical Engineering and Maritime Transport and its main objective is to mention the different stages in loading and unloading operations on a petrochemical vessel. To do this, I will use the information and experience obtained during the 6 uninterrupted months of embarkation on the ship Virgen del Cisne as a bridge student, relying on the different theoretical concepts that I have acquired during my time as a student at the Higher Technical School of Navigation of Santander. At the beginning of the work, a brief theoretical description of the dangers of the cargo carried by the ship Virgen del Cisne and the different equipment and materials used on board for loading and unloading operations, which are fundamental, will be made. Therefore, the reader will be able to familiarize himself with the dangers of the cargoes transported on a petrochemical vessel and the different equipment and materials used. Subsequently, a detailed description of all the procedures of loading and unloading on a petrochemical vessel, including the transport of the cargo, will be made. The final result of this work is to make a guide on the procedures in loading and unloading operations on a petrochemical vessel in order to help understand its operation effectively.
